From September 2023, BioSemi will be shipping a new model AD-box (Active2.5) with different connectors on the top. (Mk3 connectors)
Electrode sets for the new AD-box Active2.5 are not compatible anymore with the previous models. The future Active3 model will also have the new Mk3 connectors.
Also, for the new Active2.5 model, it is no longer possible to have the CMSDRL integrated in the A-set, so the separate CMSDRL cord will always have to be used.
The connectors of the Active2 and the Active2.5 are not compatible. So it is important to order the correct electrode sets for your AD-box.
There are no further differences between the Active2 and the Active2.5 (they have the same motherboard internal) |
| All the differences between Active2 and Active2.5: |
- No integrated CMSDRL possible anymore on the Active2.5
- New Mk3 connectors (not compatible with previous AD-boxes)

The old type electrode connector (Mk2) is not produced anymore, but we have enough stock to supply electrode sets to all our customers with Mk2 connectors for at least 5 years.
AD-boxes (version ADC16 or newer) can be upgraded to a new Top+housing, with Mk3 connectors. (550 Euro). We will then also change all the connectors of your old electrode sets to MK3 connectors (25 Euro/connector).
The version number of your AD-box is shown at the serial sticker at the bottom of your AD-box (the number direct after the letters 'ADC').
For AD-boxes sold before 2010 (ADC15 or older) we do not offer an upgrade of the TOP to MK3 connectors.
